Welcome to Homestead 1835, Hocking Hill's most historic rental property. Originally built in 1835 and renovated in 2019, you will find yourself secluded in nature with all the modern amenities of home. We are a short drive to all major Hocking Hills hiking attractions, activities, and restaurants.
Sleeps 6 comfortably
With three bedrooms and two baths, we comfortably sleep up to six guests.
ABOUT US
Situated on two acres on a quiet county road, the house boasts a wrap-around front porch with comfortable seating for watching deer, wild turkey, fox, and other native wildlife. After grilling out on the charcoal grill, a camp fire on the back of the property is the perfect place to star gaze.
Three private bedrooms, two full baths (tub downstairs , shower upstairs in master ) a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, and a spacious living room with big screen t.v. provide plenty of gathering space and privacy when it's time to turn in.
If you have any questions at all, please reach out to us. We would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have. If the house is not a perfect fit for your trip we may know someone who has a property that could work. For larger groups, please check out "Meadowlark Lodge."
FAQ
Can I make coffee in the morning?
Of course, the kitchen is stocked with modern appliances and has the most common cooking utensils.
Is there internet?
Wifi will be sufficient to use email, or support internet use on mobile devices. Wifi will not support multiple devices.
Is there TV?
There is a large 50" smart TV in our relaxing living room with DirectTV offering hundreds of channels and movies.
Are you close to Hocking Hills State Park and Old Man's Cave?
We are just 5 minutes to Boch Hollow State Park and 20 minutes from Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls.
When is Check In and Check Out?
Check-in is guaranteed by 4PM. Check out is 11AM on the day of your departure.
